Veil Volumes: The Beginning

I’m Lestine Pasion, the Founder and Creative Director of Veil Volumes, a platform built to spotlight the creativity, individuality, and artistry shaping Toronto’s fashion scene.

Veil Volumes was born out of both frustration and love, frustration with the lack of authentic coverage of Toronto’s fashion culture, and love for the beauty, energy, and expression I see at every show and in every local designer’s work. The name “Veil Volumes” came from the idea of uncovering and amplifying these stories, a clever blend of “veil,” representing coverage, and “volumes,” representing the growing archive of voices in the city’s style movement.

As a one-woman creative, I write, film, edit, and photograph everything myself, capturing Toronto fashion in its purest form. My goal is simple, to inspire others to see the brilliance of our city’s designers and creators, and to build a media platform that helps our fashion community flourish into something truly remarkable.
